We made significant changes to our Living room and the Master bedroom with lots of bespoke pieces (from joinery, cushion to the rug), she has used her creative skills, taking into account our requirements and designed a beautiful home for us.
Nichola also project managed the implementation for us, dealt with different tradespeople and made sure each element was implemented correctly. When she found the headboard frame was not in the right color, she asked the tradespeople to take it back immediately and made adjustments. With Nichola project managing the whole implementation process, it provided us peace of mind and hassle free.

“Nichola was the Interior Designer and Procurement Manager for the refurbishment of our Victorian red brick semi in Dulwich. She continues to work with us on the finishing touches. A significant element of role was to redesign the main bedroom, the second bedroom and the living rooms. She listened carefully and understood the brief well.
She produced some lovely designs and boards, and made an impressive presentation. Her ideas and proposals were imaginative, and sympathetic in interpreting our sometimes ill defined thoughts, which resulted in a great blend of contemporary and traditional styles and features. Her design has produced bright and airy rooms together with some really lovely furniture, soft furnishings and finishes. We are really very pleased with the outcome.

“I found Penman Interiors through Houzz. Dealing with Nichola has been an absolute pleasure. The whole process from start to finish has been amazing. Nichola sat down with my husband and I, went through what we were thinking re our house and then came back with fabulous colour boards for each room we were doing up. We worked together changing and adding bits and pieces and the end result we adored.
Nichola was also aware in some instances my husband and I wanted cheaper options and sourced those options for us, in other cases Nichola even found cheaper alternatives than ones I suggested. Nichola also has a great team that fits, builds, paints, applies all the choices we made from carpets, paintings, curtains, wall paper etc so we did not have to source people.

“Nichola produced designs to refurbish our entire house in south London. We appointed Nichola because we were embarking on a large build and refurbishment of our home and felt overwhelmed with the number of design decisions this would entail. Nichola came up with some beautiful designs for each room, and an overarching style and theme for the whole house. She came up with suggestions that were very much in tune with our tastes but we would not have thought of ourselves – exactly what we had hoped for. She also provided detailed plans and schedules of what we will need for each room. “I appointed Nichola Snuggs, Penman Interiors, after a competitive pitch process as the interior designer and project manager for works at my flat in Chiswick. Nichola’s approach from the outset was creative, passionate and highly efficient. She was very thorough when we first met to discuss the project and produced a client brief that reflected our discussion accurately and provided a clear sense of her thoughtful consideration of how I would want to use the space by including lifestyle and preferences that were really reassuring.
She employed skilled and trustworthy professionals to undertake the works including carpentry, electricals, decoration and soft furnishings. She kept me updated at all stages of the process and sourced some beautiful items at a range of prices to suit the design brief and my budget. A Strong Work ethic
“We approached Nichola having seen her reviews on Houzz to help us interior design and fully renovate our Victorian Semi Detached House in Dulwich. We are busy professionals and are a young family. We wanted someone dependable to project manage the build and also help us realise our vision for this property. Our budget was tight for the amount that we wanted to achieve.
Nichola was extremely patient with us and is a highly conscientious person. She has a strong work ethic and no ask is to much. Any build project is extremely stressful and Nichola worked hard to make it as comfortable as possible for us. For example, we gave her three months to complete the project which started in Sept 18 and asked for us to move in before Christmas. She managed to achieve this and then ensured that the builders came back after Christmas to address all the snags.
For a project of this nature there were quite a few, however, Nichola persevered to ensure that even the tiniest snag was taken care of and we as a family were 100% comfortable in our new property. On several occasions she went above and beyond introducing us to her wide range of contacts to cover certain items which weren’t even in the scope of our works. Nichola is now a friend and over time she has gained our trust. This is the ideal outcome for what otherwise could be one of the most testing times for anyone. Overall, we have been impressed by Nichola’s dedication and commitment to our project.
